This famous fort (famous for Purandar treaty) is located on Narayanpur -
Saswad road. Narayanpur is about 40km from Pune on Pune- Satara
            road.

          |  Precaution |

Though Purandar has many water cisterns (at least 25), they don't hold potable water, especially in summer.
So better to take enough water from base village itself.

This is second of the pair of Sar
Darwaja. As can be seen, it's in a good condition. Sitting in
the darwaja quietly in the darwaja and imagining the glory of
            Maratha's gives a different feeling!!
