Precaution |
Though Purandar has many water cisterns (at least 25), they don't hold potable water, especially in summer.
So better to take enough water from base village itself.

|
Sight Seeing |
Purandeshwar mandir is in a good condition and has been maintained well (except for the modern coloring) |
|
|
This is second of the pair of Sar
Darwaja. As can be seen, it's in a good condition. Sitting in
the darwaja quietly in the darwaja and imagining the glory of
Maratha's gives a different feeling!!
